Review: New Movie Added to the Library

Sergeant York - Boys need more movies like this.  There is a payoff with this movie -- if you have not seen it before -- a conversion story.  You will follow the early life of Alvin York and all the mischief he get's into, and it takes a while to get the place where Alvin has to make some hard decisions, but it is worth it.

 

Maybe this movie is a bit of a reflection on Gary Coopers life and conversion to Catholicism, either the conversion of Mr. Cooper or Sergeant York, it is a movie worth seeing.  Certainly a family movie, some rough parts for younger views but worth talking about.  Let me know if you feel like borrowing -- you can email me at atfuzz@gmail.com.
