Greetings everyone! Tax and yard-prep season are getting close to being over, which is pretty much where my life has been for the past month. That has not stopped my reading or movie watching, so just a quick note for what has joined the library. "Gaslight" has to be my surprise favorite of the past month-- if you ever wanted to know where the term comes from in todays terminology--- "gaslighting someone," then this movie is worth the watch. A little creepy and hard to get into at first, but a wow in the end, and you will have no problem properly using the term in the future.... not that you want to.... I did watch with all the kids and they did enjoy.
"Shaun the Sheep" -- may be one of the greatest animated series of all times! This is serious fun for the whole family. We have watched this for years and I finally relented and just bought the complete collection. You might find this on top of the Blu-Ray player if you are looking for it from the collection - feel free to borrow even if upstairs.
On a separate note, evidentially Andrew Garfield is the best Spider-Man....., hence the addition of the two new Spider-Man movies, frankly I think Emma Stone is a more memorable MJ....
Last, but not least -- "The Long, Long Trailer" - an anxiety ridden movie with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Not a family favorite, but in the collection if you want to watch. Nothing inappropriate, but just not my favorite...
